Billing

Billing for GA Radiation patients treated at Dekalb Medical Center, is handled by Avisena. Avisena will prepare and submit your insurance claims for you and represent you as your advocate with insurance companies or other third party payers. If you have questions about the billing of doctors charges please contact Avisena. 

  Responsibility of patient:

• You as the patient are responsible for your bill. It is your responsibility to make sure that the information on file at the doctor’s office is correct.

• If your insurance requires a referral, please contact your primary care physician to obtain a referral before your visit. Failure to get a referral may cause your appointment ot be rescheduled.

• You should notify the billing office at 888-553-8333 of any changes in your insurance, name, address, etc.

• If you receive a check from the insurance company paid directly to you, you need to forward the check to the billing company. Please endorse the check “Pay to the order of Greater Atlanta Radiation Oncology Consultants, LLC” and sign your name as it appears on the check.
